Meet Our Pastors: Anthony & Danielle Miller
Anthony and Danielle Miller serve as the pastors of Hope Church of Iron Mountain. Their passion is simple but deeply lived out: love God, love people, and unite the two. Their calling is to help form a people who live deeply rooted in the Word, led by the Spirit, and actively engaged in the mission of God.
In September 2023, they stepped into leadership of a small church plant, and what began as a group of ~10 has grown into a thriving and expanding church family, shaped by authentic worship, biblical teaching, and a culture that prioritizes real transformation over surface-level religion.
Their leadership is centered around a long-term vision they call Vision 2030, a focused commitment to spiritual depth, sustainable growth, and meaningful impact across the Upper Peninsula.
What We Believe
What we believe is the foundation for all we do cooperatively as a church and individually in our personal lives. Beliefs lead to values, and values are demonstrated through action. We want to help strengthen your belief in Christ so your values and actions can be in line with what the Bible teaches.
About the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the literal, infallible Word of God. All of life’s questions can be answered by reading and applying what’s inside, including how we should live, and how to find salvation.

About God
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God revealed in flesh. He is both God and man.

About Sin and Salvation
We believe that everyone has sinned and needs salvation. The Bible is clear that salvation comes by the grace of God through man’s faith, and is only possible because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Bible standard of full salvation is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. As a person receives the Holy Ghost, God causes them to speak in an unlearned language as a sign to them and others that they have received it.

About the Gospel
“The gospel” is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection).

About the Future
Jesus Christ is coming again to fulfill the promise of taking His spirit-filled church to Heaven. In the end will be the final judgment, and all the righteous saints who are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise will inherit eternal life. The reward of the un-righteous will be an eternal Hell.

About Christian Living
As Christians, we are given two basic mandates from God. First, to love God with everything we’ve got, and to love other people. Second, we are to make new disciples for Christ through preaching the gospel to the world. In fulfilling these mandates, we should live a life that is holy… both inwardly and outwardly. We should worship God joyfully and wholeheartedly. In addition, God provides spiritual gifts that He intends to be working in the church today, including healing, miracles and supernatural faith.

Questions before you come?
We've heard them all, and we're happy to answer. Here are the ones people ask most.
What do I wear?
Come as you are. You'll see people in jeans and people more dressed up — both are welcome. There is no dress code at Hope Church. Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable and at ease.
Will I be singled out or asked to stand up?
Never. We will not call you out, spotlight you, or put you on the spot. If you want to slip in, sit down, and just observe, that's completely fine. We're glad you're there regardless.
What is Pentecostal music like? Will it feel strange to me?
Our music is expressive and heartfelt — you may see people raising their hands, singing passionately, or responding in prayer. It is genuine and focused on Jesus, not performance. If it feels unfamiliar, that's okay. You're welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Nobody is watching or judging.
How long is the service?
Our Sunday morning service typically runs about 75 minutes. This includes worship, a message, and time for prayer. Wednesday evening services are generally about the same.
Is it okay to come alone?
Absolutely. Many people visit Hope Church for the first time on their own. Our greeters will make sure you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. You will not feel awkward or out of place.
What happens at the end of the service?
At the close of each service, we offer an open altar time — a space for prayer, response, and seeking God. This is always optional. You are welcome to stay and participate or simply head out after the message. There is no pressure either way.

Where is Hope Church Located?
Hope Church is located at 200 East B Street in downtown Iron Mountain, Michigan. Parking is available in the rear lot and along B street.
What do you have for kids?
Hope Church offers Nursery for kids ages 0-3, and complimentary Busy Bags are available for kids 4 through 8. On Sunday Evenings, complimentary Busy Bags are available for kids 4 through 8. A Cry Room is available for parents of younger children with a live feed into service if/as needed.
Wednesdays are our core education night. HopeKids is available for children from 3 through 11. Complimentary Busy Bags are available for kids 0 through 3. Learn more by looking at our Hope Kids page.
